Alexis Creamer is a 20-year-old sophomore at Missouri State University from St. Louis, Mo. and the winner of the Theta Pi chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated 2016 Finer Womanhood Ball essay contest.
Zeta Phi Beta hosts the Finer Womanhood Ball annually to recognize and award a recipient for outstanding performance in exemplifying the sorority’s principles of scholarship, community service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.
Creamer hasn’t decided on a major yet, but she hopes her love for helping leads her to work for a major non-profit organization. Thanks to Wyman Teen Leadership program, she has received a full scholarship to Missouri State University.
While maintaining a 3.2 accumulative grade point average, she has appeared on the dean’s list for two consecutive semesters.
Aside from her studies, she continues to serve the community through organizations such as African Student Association, Association of Black Collegians, and Untamed Tongues. She recently filled the position of Community Service Chair of Wyman Teen
Because of her passion of involvement, she was chosen to represent Missouri State at Missouri State’s Day at the Capitol in Jefferson City.
